Who are the workshops for?
The workshops are designed for businesses and individuals who want to actively contribute to making the world a better place and working to change our systems in the direction of climate justice, clean energy, circular systems, and sustainable lifestyles.
How do the workshops work?
HYS workshops are interactive learning experiences that aim to help participants improve their storytelling skills.
Here are some common elements that you might find in our workshops:
- Warm-up exercises: These activities are designed to get participants comfortable with each other and to get them in the right mindset for storytelling. They might include improvisation games, writing prompts, or other creative exercises.
- Storytelling techniques: Depending on the focus of the workshop, participants learn specific techniques for crafting and delivering stories. For example, how to translate information into instinctive human experiences and stories. Or how to create an emotional connection with numbers and facts so that people want to engage.
- Group activities: Provide group activities that allow participants to practice their skills and get feedback from others. These might include telling stories to the group, giving feedback to other participants, or working in small groups to develop a story together.
What will Hug Your Stories deliver to my organisation?
Approaching work-related topics from a completely different perspective is extremely liberating.
Hug Your Stories workshops guide people on a journey through which they will explore and connect with their personal sense of authenticity, meaning, and purpose, as well as reflect on how these insights can be applied to their lives, projects, and work.
